Join Us for the Annual General Pulaski Wreath Laying Ceremony at the General Pulaski Statue

All are welcome to join us on October 9, 2026, from 5:00 to 5:30 PM at the General Casimir Pulaski Statue next to the Ellicott Square Building in downtown Buffalo for our annual wreath laying. This has been an annual tradition for decades which leaders in our community and elected officials attend each year.

Following the wreath laying will be the 2026 Polish American Heritage Month Dinner at Kloc’s Grove - 6:00PM cocktail hour, 7:00PM dinner - where we will celebrate Polish American Heritage Month and honor the Polish American 250. Join us to commemorate 250 years of Polish contributions to America! We are also proud to honor Dina Szymanski as WNY Polish American Citizen of the Year.

Join us for a historical evening as we celebrate Polish American Heritage Month and honor the Polish American 250 - commemorating 250 years of Polish contributions to America! We will also honor Dina Szymanski as WNY Polish American of the Year.

Friday, October 9th, 6:00 PM Cocktail Hour. 7:00 PM Dinner

Location: Kloc's Grove, West Seneca, NY

Enjoy a delicious dinner, great company, and a meaningful program honoring our heritage and history.

This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our culture, connect with the community, and recognize the lasting Polish impact on the United States. Tickets are $55 Each or $100 per couple.

Heritage 250 Awards and Cultural Excellence Banquet

In honor of Erie County 250th celebrations, the General Pulaski Association, Congressman Tim Kennedy, and Erie County 250 are embarking on a multi-year mission to recognize 250 individuals with the Congressional Award in Cultural Excellence.

This banquet honors those who furthered the mission of their cultural organization, exemplified outstanding service to their cultural community or community at large, facilitated cross-cultural relationships with their interaction and leadership, or contributed to the well-being of Erie County and Western New York.

There is no cost to nominate individuals, and no cost to receive this award. All honorees are invited to participate in the 88th Pulaski Day Parade on September 12th in Depew, and their organizations are invited to set up tables and tents in Veterans Park to further community engagement.
